To the Church of St. Alphonsus Liguori/Kilskyre Church
From Kildare/Dublin (About 1 hour):
Make your way to the N3 (Navan/Cavan) from the M50, R147, R405, R449 or R157. Stay on the N3 for about 5km and continue onto the M3 (follow signs for Cavan). Stay on the M3 for approximately 50km until it comes to an end at a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit to continue on to N3. At the next roundabout (about 3.5km later), take the first exit onto R163 and after 2km turn left at the sign for Kilskyre. Continue on the road for 3.5km until you reach Kilskyre. Turn left onto the main street where the Church is located.
From Midlands (About 1 hour 30 mins):
Make your way to the N80 and follow it for about 15km. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N52 and continue to follow signs for the N52 for approximately 68km until you reach a 4-way crossroads where the Clonleason Gate Lodge is located. Turn left onto R154 and continue for about 3km to the Church.
From Belfast (About 1 hr 45 mins):
Make your way to the M1 and continue until you reach the A1 exit towards Sprucefield. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for A1/Sprucefield for about 33 miles. Continue onto N1 and after 6 miles continue onto M1. After 14 miles you’ll reach Junction 14 where you’ll take the N33 exit to N2/Ardee/Derry. At the next roundabout (at the Charleville Bridge) take the 3rd exit onto N33. After 4 miles you’ll reach the next roundabout where you’ll take the 1st exit onto O’Carroll St. At the T junction, turn left onto Castle St/N2/N52 and then take a quick right onto Barret’s Ln/N52. Follow signs to stay on N52 for about 28 miles. When you reach a crossroads at the Clonleason Gate Lodge, turn right onto R154. Continue for about 1.8 miles to the Church.
To Clonabreany House
From St. Alphonsus Liguiri/Kilskyre Church (approximately 10 minutes)
Turn right out of the church onto Kilskyre Rd/R154 and continue for about 4km until you reach a 4-way crossroads. Turn left at the cross and continue for about 1km until you reach the next 4-way crossroads where you’ll take a right towards Clonabreany House (there will be a sign at the junction pointing right). After about 2km turn right. After about 500m you’ll see a right-hand turn for Clonabreany House. Follow the drive to reach the house.
If you are staying at Clonabreany House, please follow signs on the left for parking and check-in and if you are staying elsewhere, please park in the lot at the base of the House’s driveway.
