Bride

Shannon Coco, often mistaken for Ice T’s wife, hails from Connecticut, a state whose best known attribute is that it’s right between New York City and Boston. She attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts where she studied Anthropology and Music and spent a disproportionate amount of time singing, especially with the Whims (all-female a capella). After graduation she moved to the great white north of the US, Vermont, where she worked as an Admissions Counselor for two years. Eventually, Shannon grew tired of the high life (she worked 3,000 feet above sea level) and moved to Ireland to live with the Groom where she continued working in higher education for University College Dublin. She recently completed her MSc in Marketing at UCD and now works for Kerry Group in their dairy and culinary business, which is pretty ironic considering she’s in fact allergic to both dairy and cooking.

Groom

Simon Greene is the most handsome of the Greene brothers and is child number four of five offspring produced by Carol and George, the Greene progenitors. Simon studied the Irish language and Geography in Maynooth University (where the couple met) which he felt was the ideal base for his current role as AV and Multimedia Coordinator in one of Ireland’s top law firms.

When Simon is not busy hand-holding some of the country’s top companies, he spends his time running as well as obsessing over his true love, his main squeeze, his amore, American Football. As if watching hours of it a week wasn’t enough, Simon also plays, coaches, tweets, writes about and mindlessly pours over various football related statistics. For instance, did you know that the first Super Bowl was watched at home by only 500 people, 120.3 million less than the 2014 Super Bowl at its peak? Because Simon knew that.

Maid of Honour

Dr. Molly Bloom is the bride's best friend who lives in Washington DC where she works as a physical therapist. Molly and Shannon met in middle school at Kingswood-Oxford when they were both in their braces-wearing prime and have been best friends ever since. Molly is a diehard Red Sox fan and a cupcake connoisseur.

Best Man

Jeff Greene is Simon's younger, less handsome brother. Jeff was raised by wild dogs until the age of 7 when Simon and his family came upon him. Jeff enjoys long walks on the beach and claims to have made friends with the bears in his current residence, Whistler, Canada. Stay tuned to see if he makes the wedding. Jeff beat out the competition for best man in a very close race. The applications arrived in their several, and what started out as a friendly competition with some interviews, man-dates, and tug-o-war games, turned into a pretty heated bloodbath (instigated by Jeff). The competition finally ended with Jeff pulling a move straight out of the playbook of one of his heroes, Mike Tyson, by biting one of the groomsman, Paul’s ear clean off.

Bridesmaids

Jackie Presutti is a Connecticut native who loves the outdoors. She and Shannon met as freshmen at Wheaton College through The Whims, an all-female a capella group. After bonding over road trips, thrift shops and Pitch Perfect references, they’ve continued their friendship by visiting each other all over the world. When Jackie isn’t busy photographing weddings and working to end global poverty, she can be found soaking up the California sun.

Tessie Snow and Shannon met through the Whims at Wheaton and have taken the scavenger hunt scene by storm in both Boston and Dublin. Tessie is a history buff who has worked as a U.S. Park Ranger, showing tourists how 18th century colonists in early America partied (ask her to show you the photo of her in a bonnet holding a rifle...nothing better!). Tessie is now a 3rd grade teacher at a Boston-area elementary school and is the world's foremost 'Taps' player (trumpet only).

Jess ‘Liz Lemon’ Weinstein is the token red-head in the bunch who despite having no Irish heritage, is constantly questioned about her native homeland, Ireland. A Whim sister of Shannon, Jess is infamously known for ability to ‘drop a beat.’ She is an animal lover who helps her mom run a rescue for cats and dogs in the Boston area. When she isn’t chilling with her two cats, Pablo and Pancho, Jess can be found working as the box office manager at a Boston-area theatre company.

Groomsmen

Colin Coco is the bride's youngest of one brothers. Colin is a student of life and also of Wheaton College, where he enjoys among other things, breaking up parties and singing while men make noises behind him. He’s quite celebrated for it. Mostly behind his back.

Paul Donnelly is Simon’s best friend and hetrosexual life partner of nearly ten years. Paul and Simon regularly field ‘Oh look it’s Paul Simon, sing us a song’ jokes with a great deal of aggression. Paul recently finished a PhD in Theatre, but don’t ask him about it, because he might tell you. Fun Fact: Paul recently had his ear successfully re-attached after the Best Man, Jeff bit it off in an escalated competition to be the best man.

Andrew Greene is Simon's older, less handsome brother. At Andrew’s wedding in September 2015, Simon was his best man and was recently voted ‘World’s Greatest Best Man’ by Simon himself. Andrew currently resides in London. The fancy part.
